Season is almost over, and Fifth Avenue South is so grateful to our snowbirds, who continue to support our businesses year after year. We also thank our year-round residents who keep the Avenue humming. Parking spaces are available; the crowds are gone; and a laid-back Saturday or Sunday brunch, whether casual or up-scale, may just hit the spot before the summer heat wave begins. BiCE Ristorante's Unlimited Brunch & Beyond
Saturday and Sunday, 10:30am-2:00pm, 300 Fifth Avenue South
BiCE features a delicious all-you-can-eat menu for $49 per person. An extra $20 includes a bottomless glass of mimosa, prosecco, sangria, bellini, margarita or house wine. The menu ranges from light appetizers, including oysters, lobster meat, and beef carpaccio to traditional brunch selections, like filet mignon benedict to build your own omelet to French toast. The menu also includes many of the restaurant’s top Italian dishes as well, like crab ravioli, black truffle rigatoni, and veal puttanesca.
Caffé Milano
Daily, 11:30am-2:00pm, 800 Fifth Avenue South
From an organic egg omelet at $16 to a lobster role for $26 and other dishes in between, brunch is always available at Caffé Milano, along with its regular Italian lunch menu. Should you decide to splurge on Saturday or Sunday, a bottomless glass of prosecco, mimosa, margarita, or sangria is available for an additional $25.
Del Mar Naples
Saturday and Sunday, 11:30am-3:00pm, 494 Fifth Avenue South
With something for everyone, Del Mar’s brunch menu is priced from $15 to $49. From pistachio babka French toast to lobster scramble to smoked salmon and a Jerusalem bagel to scrumptious cinnamon date bread, there are lots of brunchy items. Or if you are interested in a cold platter of seafood delicacies, dips, or Turkish flatbreads, you will find that too as well as many of Del Mar’s specialty dishes. Dolce & Salato Italian Food Boutique

With a more casual vibe, Dolce & Salato is an Italian food boutique, where every day is brunch day. The menu, with average prices around $15.95, ranges from freshly baked goodies, like made to order apple, almond or chocolate croissants or assorted Italian biscotti. Croissant dishes are filled with everything from salmon to eggs to prosciutto and mozzarella. Try one of the restaurant’s Italian frittatas or special egg dishes topped off with a cup of cappuccino.
The French Brasserie Rustique
Daily, 11:30am-2:30pm, 365 Fifth Avenue South
The French features a variety of brunch and special French dishes, from $20 to $32, every day on its lunch/brunch menu, including a farm egg omelet and salade to avocado toast with smoked salmon to buckwheat crepes and classic French toast. The French menu also includes all of its signature dishes, like shrimp and cantaloupe salad, and tuna niçoise salad, as well as escargot de Bourgogne in a puff pastry, and a foot-long French éclair. A bottle of French rosé from Provence is the perfect topper. Sunday brunch is always special at The French with live jazz music through May.
Keewaydin’s
Saturday and Sunday, 11:00am-3:30pm, 711 Fifth Avenue South
Keewaydin’s has now added brunch to its offerings with prices ranging from $14 to $25. From stuffed French toast to eggs benedict with roasted pork to homemade coconut glazed cronuts (part croissant and part donut) with chocolate filling, there’s plenty of tantalizingly choices. Classic bottomless mimosas are available for $24. Mother’s Day brunch can’t be missed with all moms getting a free mimosa, craft cocktail, or glass of wine with their entrée or salad.
Sails Restaurant
Saturday 11:30am, Sunday, seatings at 11:30am and 2:00pm, 301 Fifth Avenue South
Then there is the brunch of all brunches, where guests can indulge themselves for two hours in a feast of all you can enjoy, along with unlimited drinks, including champagne, mimosas, wine, and apple old fashions. Saturday is $105, and Sunday is $129. From house baked croissants and donuts to a dozen first course items, including tuna tartare, salmon gravlax, and crab & avocado, to 10 entrees from Sails French toast to the wood-grilled fish du jour to the third course of desserts that includes the amazing sticky toffee pudding or homemade soufflé, the food is phenomenal and service impeccable. Luxury upgrades are also available.
The Café
Daily, 8:00am-3:00pm, 821 Fifth Avenue South
For a healthy, laid-back choice, The Café offers home baked goods, omelets, steak burritos, classic lox and bagel, and specialty bowls, among other delectables. The Café’s juice bar is also a hot spot with its creative and delicious selection. Prices range from $15 to $20.
