Tree lighting in Downtown a Naples tradition

The 44th annual tree lighting ceremony in downtown Naples is a sight to behold every year.
“44 years of it and I don’t think it ever really gets old,” Mayor Bill Barnett was slightly wistful, going over the long history of the city tradition.
As the holiday atmosphere takes over Fifth Avenue South and Downtown Naples, hundreds gathered to take in the sights and performances. It’s hard to believe that just three months ago, Naples was facing devastation on a grand scale from Hurricane Irma
