Tickets on sale for inaugural Naples event: 5th Avenue Design Experience

Naples, Florida (March 28, 2019) … The 5th Avenue South Business Improvement District has teamed with Gulfshore Life for this inaugural design event debuting on Saturday, April 13 from 2-8pm. The 5th Avenue Design Experience is an exclusive pairing event where fashion design, art, jewelry, and interior design come together to showcase their incredible creations.
Trunk shows taking place in participating storefronts will occupy the first half of the day from 2:00-5:00pm. Each participating store will host a special showcase or promotion in their storefront; for example, Marilyn’s will be showcasing their French Silk Loupe line, a custom textile couture line developed exclusively for Marilyn, and Peach Tree Designs will be hosting a trunk show for Ali & Bird jewelry, a company out of Atlanta. Attending these trunk shows will be complimentary to guests.
Sponsored by Wynn’s Market, John R. Wood Properties, and Kurnik Law, this event aims to reinforce all of the incredible designs located right here on 5th Avenue South. “We know our arts and design component is one of our primary differentiators from other local shopping destinations around southwest Florida. 5th Avenue has fashion, jewelry, art, interior design, and more, and we are delighted to showcase this complementary combination of hardworking businesses in such a unique way through this event,” says Executive Director of the 5th Avenue South Business Improvement District, Bruce Barone, Jr.
Gulfshore Life has just released a special in-book section in their April edition recognizing and pairing together the most innovative pieces that can be found right on the Avenue. Stores seen in the in-book section will open their doors for unique trunk shows that highlight their designs. Marilyn’s, Gallery One, English Traditions, Joseph Wendt Custom Clothiers, Jami’s Boutique, Lawler Design Studio, Provident Jewelry and Bakes & Kropp Fine Cabinetry are among the participating businesses.
The night will conclude with a party in Sugden Plaza, where guests are invited to enjoy an exclusive VIP experience from 6-8pm with a closer look at the tremendous pieces, enjoy hors d’oeuvres provided by Ocean Prime, Vergina and Truluck’s, passed champagne, and live entertainment from the Robert Williamson band.
