Osteria Tulia Celebrates Prestigious DiRoNA Award of Excellence

Naples’ chef Vincenzo Betulia has announced that Osteria Tulia, the celebrated culinary gem on 5th Avenue South that he founded in 2012, has been awarded the prestigious 2025 “Award of Excellence” from the Distinguished Restaurants in North America (DiRoNA). The award is an international distinction and Osteria Tulia is the only restaurant in Naples to receive the elite designation.
“We are beyond humbled by this recognition and excited for what’s ahead,” said Chef Betulia. “This honor is a testament to our team’s unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience — every plate, every pour, every time.”
DiRoNA has honored less than 1,100 restaurants with its Award of Excellence since its founding in 1990, making Osteria Tulia’s inclusion especially noteworthy. The award cements Chef Betulia’s stature as one of the region’s leading culinary figures.
According to the announcement from DiRoNA CEO Scott Breard, Osteria Tulia “…was evaluated on its menu, wine list, and ambiance, earning a place among North America’s best ..”
The Award of Excellence recognizes restaurants that go above and beyond in delivering superior cuisine, beverage programs, service and ambiance. According to DiRoNA’s website, winners exemplify “exceptional dining experiences across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.”
Osteria Tulia is the flagship restaurant of Chef Betulia’s Campagna Hospitality Group, which also operates The French, Bar Tulia 5th Avenue, Bar Tulia Mercato, Rouge Steakhouse, and Tulia Catering. It is known for its rustic Italian fare, thoughtfully curated wine and cocktail menus and warm, sophisticated atmosphere.
The DiRoNA accolade caps off a banner year for Chef Betulia’s Campagna Hospitality Group. Wine Spectator recently named The French one of its top rising star restaurants in the world of wine while Gulfshore Life spotlighted Rouge Steakhouse as one of the best new restaurants in Naples in 2024.
