Naples Historical Society Welcomes New Board Directors & Tips Hat to Out-going Board Chairman

Naples, FL – Naples Historical Society welcomes the following new Directors: Kathy Curatolo, Thomas R Oliveri, Sharon von Arx and Ginny Veras.
Ms. Curatolo is the former Executive Director for the Collier Building Industry Association. She will be a source of help to ensure the Society’s work on the Naples Historic District Initiative, including the newly produced video, Our Community’s Expectations!, is widely distributed and understood. Kathy is also a former member of the Collier County School Board.
Mr. Oliveri, a Northern Trust veteran, has recently relocated to Southwest Florida and serves the company as its West Florida President. Tom will lend his expertise and talents in many areas and serve the Society as an Ambassador.
Ms. von Arx, along with her husband, Dolph, is a Society Friend and an ardent supporter of several local nonprofits, including the Society. Sharon brings event leadership expertise and also serves the Society as an Ambassador.
Ms. Ginny Veras is a recently retired Senior Partner with Ernst & Young and is now the Society’s Treasurer and sits on the Executive Committee. Ginny brings exceptional banking and money management expertise to the Society.
With the excitement of these four incoming Directors, we offer our gratitude and thanks to Denny Glass, Naples Historical Society’s out-going Chairman of the Board. Denny served the Society’s Board for many years and has been a Society Member for two decades. We wish him well.
Beyond the additions and departures, we are happy to report other Board movement: Mr. Richard G. Prebish II, William Raveis real estate professional, will take on the Board leadership role as the Chairman of the Board, and Mr. Charles G. Mueller, recently retired from Northern Trust as its West Florida President, will ascend to Vice Chairman.
