Naples Historical Society Announces New Deputy Executive Director
March 18, 2024
Naples Historical Society is excited to announce the appointment of Nancy Dagher as its new Deputy Executive Director beginning March 18, 2024. She will work alongside the Society’s CEO, Elaine Reed, to ensure a smooth transition to leadership until Reed’s retirement in late 2024. A resident of Naples since 2001, Dagher brings with her more than 30 years of experience in the corporate and private sector.
Nancy began her business development, sales and marketing career at Motorola on a team that set up the first wholly-owned subsidiary in China. As a reward, she was given a fellowship to Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business and completed her MBA. This was followed by an expatriate assignment in London and Dubai where Nancy led a sales and marketing team to bring Global Cellular Network Business (GSM) cellular infrastructure to Asia, Europe, and the Middle East before relocating to Naples.
In 2001, Dagher founded Wind and Water Consultants and acted as its CEO. Her firm provided consulting services to various Naples’ non-profits such as Foundation of the Collier County Medical Society, Naples Art Association at the Von Liebig Art Center, Naples/Ft. Myers Town Hall Lecture Series and many more. For the last eight years, Nancy has worked within the Golf and Country Club industry, refining her skills in finance, strategic planning, capital reserves and board governance. Over the last two years, Nancy has won three scholarships from the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA). Her leadership skills and certifications will contribute to the continued success of the Naples Historical Society. ”Nancy has a remarkable breadth of knowledge and experience, and she has been very involved in the Naples community for more than 20 years. There is no doubt that she is a wonderful fit for Naples Historical Society,” says its CEO Elaine Reed.
