Mother-daughter team opens Rouze in downtown Naples

Rouze offers a curated selection of contemporary clothing for women with personalized in-store styling and wardrobe consultations
Naples, FL: (January 15, 2020) . . . Rouze, a contemporary women’s clothing boutique, is now open in downtown Naples. Owned by a mother-daughter team, Erin Brechbill and Sheri Paparella, Rouze is the duo’s lifelong dream to own a boutique together and bring their personal excitement about fashion to others.
“Our client is what I call an intellectual shopper,” explains Erin. “Someone who likes to think about clothes and appreciate the quality, but also follow the trends. We love clothing that is feminine and sexy but with a bit of an edge,” she adds. “Our inventory is hand selected—a mix of advanced contemporary clothing and accessories, for the customer that doesn’t necessarily wear a head-to-toe designer look
The name Rouze reflects Erin and Sheri’s desire to awaken, stir up, and rouse people to step boldly into fashion. Erin says, “We used a ‘z’ in Rouze to give the name a newness that embodies the type of clothing we offer.”
Erin shared, “I’ve loved fashion since childhood and love helping every customer feel beautiful about themselves. That’s why the environment at Rouze is warm and inviting, but also fun and energizing. I believe fashion is one of the main ways that people express themselves and you can definitely do that here with us at Rouze.” Rouze offers personalized, one-on-one service to help customers select a perfect piece or outfit that they can feel great wearing. Erin says, “We want to help our customers see their own beauty.”
Sheri talked about their unique inventory, “We find different clothing lines that you may not find in other stores in Naples and we work with emerging designers.” Sheri adds, “Our store has a warm and welcoming vibe and many of our clients have become friends. We want people to feel welcome and comfortable as they shop. We offer concierge services and can hand deliver items to your home or mail boxes on approval,” says Sheri. Customers also receive complimentary in-house styling by Kaitlan Benedict of Kait It Out, who works both in-store and for private wardrobe consultations.
A native Floridian and longtime lover of style, Sheri Paparella started her first business, a hair salon, at age 18. Erin attended FSU and earned a degree in marketing and, after spending a few years in advertising and real estate, now applies her skills to creating the Rouze experience. Before moving to the new location, the team operated Rouze in North Naples where they grew a steady clientele for four years.
Sheri says, “We knew we would probably relocate to downtown Naples and here we are! It’s incredible to be in beautiful Naples, with 5th Avenue South just steps from the Gulf of Mexico. We love the neighborhood feeling with fantastic shopping and dining. It’s where everyone wants to be — us included!”
Danielle (Dani) Glickson of LVD Spaces designed the lush interior of Rouze. Glickson carried their vision of industrial chic to a higher level, painting luxurious pale pink walls, concrete floors and black-and-white photographs of 90s super models—paying homage to Erin’s pre-teen fashion obsession when she studied runway shows endlessly.
The boutique also includes a cleverly patterned oversized textural 10’ x 4’ wall with a neon sign overhead that reads, “It Was All A Dream.” This saying represents their dream of owning a store together and Erin’s love of rap music. It is set up like a photo booth and is the location for daily outfit displays or assisting clients with a photo, or an Instagram or Facebook LIVE video.
Rouze carries a curated collection, from stunning dresses to weekend casual looks, as well as denim, t-shirts, jewelry, comfortable lingerie and loungewear.
ROUZE supports women’s causes, in particular the Shelter for Abused Women and PACE and the Humane Society of Naples.
