Parking needed for concerts
As a long-standing member of the Naples Concert Band, now in its 46th season, I am writing to support the proposed parking garage at Fourth Street South and Fourth Avenue South.
The band’s monthly concerts, held at Cambier Park, attract crowds in excess of 1,000 people, while hundreds of others, residents and visitors, are being turned away due to the lack of sufficient parking.
I imagine that other organizations using the park facilities experience the same situation and therefore, I urge the City Council to approve the proposed parking garage just three blocks from Cambier Park.
