Inn on Fifth & Club Level Suites Prepares for May 15 Reopening
May 5, 2020
“Soft” opening includes partial inventory, focus on safety, service and local business
NAPLES, Fla. (May 5, 2020) – As most of Florida enters Phase 1 of the state’s recovery plan, the landmark Inn on Fifth & Club Level Suites in downtown Naples has announced a reopening date of May 15. Temporarily closed on April 1, the hotel’s “soft” opening will make available roughly 25% of the hotel’s 119 spacious guest rooms and suites. The hotel has introduced a new program of cleaning protocols and safety guidelines in every department designed to protect the health and well-being of guests and staff. To welcome nearby guests back, the hotel has also created a number of special packages and offers, including a “Just for Locals” one-night offer exclusively for residents of Collier and Lee counties.
“This has been an exceptionally challenging time for everyone – our guests, staff, and fellow travel industry partners – and we’re relieved and elated to be taking these first cautious steps toward a return to travel,” said Phil McCabe, owner of the Inn on Fifth. “As we ready the hotel for our May 15 reopening, we’re putting new initiatives in place, training our staff, and making operational adjustments throughout the property to accommodate the new realities of today.”
In addition to a deep cleaning and sanitizing of the entire building, McCabe and his executive team are elevating the award-winning hotel’s already high standards for cleanliness, introducing new protocols for ongoing disinfecting of guest rooms, public spaces and employee-only areas. “We want everyone to relax and enjoy their stay on Fifth Avenue, knowing we’re following stringent guidelines to ensure their well-being,” added McCabe.
With the soft opening, some of the hotel’s luxurious amenities and services may be available on a limited basis. Room service will be available and guests can enjoy food and beverage service on the recently renovated rooftop pool terrace and courtyard, which features a new poolside gazebo, outdoor bar, and plush new chaise lounges. The hotel’s award-winning Spa on Fifth will remain closed until further notice.
“We intend to have the entire hotel open for our loyal guests and business travelers as soon as circumstances allow, with a committment to maximizing guest and employee safety without compromising the stellar service that is the hallmark of The Inn on Fifth,” said McCabe. “The hotel and Fifth Avenue are coming back to life, but we’ll all need a little extra patience as we begin to move forward together.”
Ideally located on Fifth Avenue in stylish downtown Naples, The Inn on Fifth gives guests easy access to a celebrated collection of restaurants and shops, many of which have reopened as of May 4, following recent orders from the State of Florida. Guests can also enjoy an easy stroll or take complimentary transportation to the white sand beaches of the emerald Gulf, which are now open and just a few short blocks from the property.
Starting at just $229 (plus tax), the “Just for Locals” offer is available to residents of Collier and Lee counties May 25 through June 30, and includes a one-night stay in a deluxe room, and a $50 credit for poolside food and beverage.
