Good news roundup: 2 Naples restaurants to donate 5,500 meals to COVID-19 front lines

Sails and William Raveis Real Estate have pledged 3,500 hot meals for Naples healthcare workers. Bill’s Cafe is donating 2,000 sandwiches. Plus more good news from the SWFL restaurant world.
The National Restaurant Association estimates 3% of U.S. restaurants have permanently closed.
“What we have seen over the last three weeks has been nothing short of a tidal wave,” the association’s Sean Kennedy said in an interview posted last week by thedenverchannel.com.
That number could jump as high as 11% according to the National Restaurant Association.
