Fifth Avenue South to Host Several Fourth of July Events

NAPLES, Fla. (July 1, 2013) – Fifth Avenue South is pleased to host several events during the Fourth of July holiday.
The annual Fourth of July Parade will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 4. The parade route will begin at Broad Avenue South, travel down Third Street South to Fifth Avenue South, and end at Eighth Street South. Join thousands to witness this spectacular event filled with festive floats and family fun.
Businesses along Fifth Avenue South will host a special Sidewalk Sale that will take place from Thursday, July 4 to Sunday, July 7. Participating merchants will bring their merchandise and sale items to the sidewalks for the Fourth of July holiday. Shoppers are invited to visit their favorite Fifth Avenue South merchants while discovering new ones too.
The annual Fourth of July Fireworks begin at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 4 at the City Pier. The show will last approximately 30 minutes. Guests are encouraged to bring a folding chair or blanket to enjoy this amazing display of fireworks along the sandy shores of Naples City Beach. Following the fireworks, many businesses will be open along Fifth Avenue South for dinner, dessert, and shopping!
