Estimated 2,500 march in Naples to support women, rights, social causes
January 22, 2017
At least 2,500 people took to Naples downtown streets Saturday morning to march in support of rights that were flash points in the last presidential campaign.
Police and march organizers estimated that number for the peaceful crowd that converged on Cambier Park after the mile-long march. The march had spilled from sidewalks onto roads, eventually taking over Third Street and Fifth Avenue South.
