Downtown Naples office tower sells for $16 million

In one of the largest recent transactions involving a single downtown Naples property, a Bonita Springs doctor and real estate investor closed last week on the purchase of the Regions Bank office tower on Fifth Avenue South for $16 million, brokers on the sale said.
The 1½-acre property at 1100 Fifth Ave. S., with more than 52,000 square feet of office space, occupies a premier spot on the avenue in the heart of downtown, just west of the Gordon River Bridge near the intersection with Goodlette-Frank Road.
