20-year-old Bonita Springs steakhouse closes May 23rd for $1.0 MM renovation
Naples, FL: (May 7, 2021) . . . Culinary Concepts founder Skip Quillen announced today Chops City Grill steakhouse in Bonita Springs will close for a $1.0 MM renovation on Sunday, May 23rd, 2021. The temporary closure kicks off phase one of a complete remodeling program which will enhance the 20-year-old steakhouse’s elegance and sterling reputation as the premier steakhouse in Southwest Florida. Chops City Grill is scheduled to reopen in the fall 2021. Limited dinner reservations are available where guests may revisit the steakhouse’s signature copper poles and azure blue ceilings. Centrally located midway between Bonita and Estero nearby the Coconut Point Mall, the 300-seat upscale steakhouse opened in 2001 at 8200 Health Center Boulevard with both indoor and al fresco dining, specializing in-house dry-aged roasted prime rib, American Prime, Japanese and Australian wagyu strip, T-bone and rib eye steaks and fresh seafood choices matched with creative sides and original sauces. The steakhouse’s legendary antique bar offers more than 100 whiskey selections, a 300+ bottle wine list, 100s of creative craft cocktails and non-alcoholic selections.
Although Chops’ design will change, Quillen says customers will still enjoy the lowest priced wagyu beef in the country, dry-aged prime rib and an award-winning menu and staff when the steakhouse reopens, adding that the wine list, signature cocktails and dinner menu will also be enhanced.
