Construction Notice – Mast arm painting at 5th Ave S and 8th St S

Beginning on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 the City of Naples and Crazy Horse Enterprises, Inc. will be performing construction at the intersection of 5th Avenue South and 8th Street South. Work includes the pressure washing, sanding, and painting of the mast arms, which is tentatively scheduled to be completed in four (4) days, weather permitting.
Traffic control and warning signs will be installed in the work zone. Most of the work will impact vehicular traffic; however, at least one lane will remain accessible, using flagmen to direct traffic. The work zone is identified by a red box in the image below.
Motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians should be alert for construction workers and equipment in and around the roadway. They are encouraged to allow additional time in their schedule for potential delays. Resident cooperation and patience are appreciated during this process.
