Artisan Marketplace: Art for Social Change
September 16, 2024
The Naples Woman’s Club is sponsoring their 9th Artisan Marketplace at their clubhouse off 5th avenue in downtown Naples on November 1st, 2nd & 3rd. This popular charity event provides scholarships to Collier county residents who want to major in the arts.
Naples is a mecca for artists and artisans. The Naples Woman’s Club is using art as a catalyst for social change by holding an event that gives local artists a chance to display and sell their art and gives attendees a chance to meet the artists and purchase unique products, all while giving back to the community.
The diverse array of products includes jewelry, fine art, ceramics, apparel, and condiments, and is timed to dovetail with the holiday shopping season. The accompanying silent auction is something that attendees look forward to each year. This year’s auction includes the use of a Bentley for a weekend and a private
airplane ride and tour.
Artisan Marketplace kicks off with a private preview party on Friday evening, with drinks and appetizers by Chef Vincenzo Betulia from Osteria Tulia and The French, and live music by local Naples saxophonist, Yasel Barreras.. Friday evening Preview Party tickets ($125 for Patrons and $100 general admission) are available on the Naples Woman’s Club website: https://napleswomansclub.org/artisan-marketplace-2024 On Saturday and Sunday admission is free.
Event sponsors include Porsche, NAWI, The Sill Family, Waller Financial Planning Group, and Naples Illustrated.
