The David Beavis Gallery shall be managed by Fine Art Industry Veterans, John Atanasio and Gordan Cvetkovic whom were both displaced by the Maui Wildfires and find a new home in Naples, Florida. They shall launch a brand new Gallery on 5th Avenue South for Aussie Fine Art Photographer David Beavis.

John & Gordan were both long term Lahaina, Maui residents and previously managed the most prestigious and landmark Front Street Fine Art Galleries for many years as Gallery Directors and CEO. On August 8th, the Wildfires of Maui which was one of the largest and most deadly fires in U.S. history destroyed the entire town of Lahaina and burned Front Street and their beloved galleries to the ground. Lahaina was the economic and cultural heart of the Island. Their residences were not in the fire zone but nearly all of their goods friend lost everything having them fleeing their burning homes with nothing but the close on their back.Much of their early time in the aftermath of the fires found themselves comforting friends and making trips to food banks and supply depots.

John and Gordan have been close friends and colleagues at times for many years and found leaving Maui a difficult emotional task. John first discovered David Beavis’s Park City Main Street Gallery and was drawn to his art and soon joined and then recruited Gordan after telling him about David and his artwork. “According to Atanasio,” In life the Lord sometimes closes one door only to open another.” We already miss our Maui Ohana but we are both very grateful to land in beautiful Naples and to work with an amazing artist such as David Beavis.”
