Naples Players Announce New Online Comedy Event for August 22

August 11, 2020, NAPLES, FLA. – The Naples Players (TNP) and Stage 2 Improv are combining forces to present an online comedy night event scheduled for Saturday, August 22 at 7 p.m. The event is a new online reimagination of the monthly TNP Comedy Nights that were postponed in March due to health and safety precautions.
The free, hour-long event is a combination of sketch and improv comedy shot live from inside the iconic 5th Avenue South home of The Naples Players. Audiences can watch live on the TNP Facebook and YouTube pages as well as at www.NaplesPlayers.org/LIVE
Confirmed to perform are local comedians Gina Balducci, Caitlyn Crawford, Kat Ebaugh, Judith Gangi Santos, Mike Santos, and Adam Santa Fe.
The Naples Players non-profit community theatre has lost an estimated $850,000 in revenue since March 12 due to show cancellations, ticket refunds, and season subscription delays. During the event, viewers can donate in realtime to support the organization’s continued efforts to provide virtual education and entertainment to the Naples community while the theatre remains closed.
