City Council says YES to masks, NO to mandate
July 29, 2020
Naples, FL (July 29, 2020) – The Naples City Council met today at a Special Meeting requested by Mayor Teresa Heitmann to discuss current conditions of COVID-19 in our community and the Collier County Facial Mask Mandate. City Council did not opt-in to the Collier County mask mandate that went into effect last week. The City of Naples strongly encourages the community to wear face masks/coverings while in public along with practicing all other CDC and Florida Department of Health guidelines such as washing hands frequently, social distancing, staying home when you are sick, and Avoiding the 3 C’s (Closed Spaces, Crowded Places, and Close-Contact Settings).
