City of Naples – Beach restrictions and the re-opening of Naples Pier, Lowdermilk Park, and City Dock

Naples, FL (June 9, 2020) – Today, the City Council unanimously approved re-opening the City of Naples beaches to normal operating hours and permitted activities seven days a week. Beach parking continues to be restricted to vehicles with City of Naples and Collier County beach parking stickers. Increased parking fines ($200) remain in effect for violators, as well as illegally parked vehicles will be towed. The Naples Pier and Lowdermilk Park will re-open for pedestrian traffic, concessions, and volleyball courts on Thursday, June 11, 2020. Fishing on the pier remains prohibited. The City Dock will also re-open on Thursday for pedestrian traffic only.
The public’s cooperation and understanding throughout the closing and re-opening of the City of Naples beaches and parks has been most appreciated. Individuals are expected to continue to follow the Governor’s Executive Orders and CDC guidance regarding social distancing.
The City of Naples will be monitoring compliance with protocols to ensure residents are accessing and enjoying the beaches and parks in a safe manner.
