Caffé Milano Adds Weekend Brunch
December 16, 2019
A portmanteau of breakfast and lunch, brunch originated in England in the late 19th century and became popular in the United States in the 1930s
Naples, FL: (December 16, 2019) . . . “What’s for brunch?” It’s perhaps the most important decision of every weekend and with such pressure, it’s imperative that the right choice is made.
Delicious and fun, brunch (a portmanteau of breakfast and lunch) brings people together like no other meal. It’s a time to gather with family and friends.
Caffé Milano manger Roberto Cusumano today announced the popular modern rustic Italian restaurant on 5th Avenue South in downtown Naples has added a weekend brunch to its menu, serving artfully crafted hot and cold selections – from fresh mixed berries with organic yogurt to homemade pancakes with black cherries and fresh plums to a New England fresh lobster roll with one sunny side up egg, house sauce and potato chips.
Caffé Milano’s weekend brunch features innovative twists on classic American dishes. The cuisine incorporates seasonal ingredients from local farms and purveyors as well as sustainable beef, pork, and seafood. Chef Marvin Torres elevates morning cuisine and delivers delicacies like Brioche French Toast dusted with a cinnamon and coating and served with house-made strawberry maple syrup. According to Chef Torres, his Brioche French Toast dish is a favorite of Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter Gloria Estefan, a frequent diner at his former restaurant in Miami.
“Get cozy over a shot of espresso or replenish your body with a glass of freshly-squeezed juice or indulge with our celebrated bottomless mimosas or Bloody Marys for just $20,” says Chef Torres. Brunchers will enjoy global flavors with a healthy slant, such as an organic white omelet created with zucchini and Swiss cheese served with roasted potatoes or salad. A traditional organic Eggs Benedict features Canadian ham, English muffin and homemade hollandaise sauce is also available.
Brunch (as well as full lunch menu) is served 11:30 am until 2:45 pm every Saturday and Sunday with prices starting at $12; Reservations suggested by calling (239) 239) 692-8480.
