Two 5th Avenue South Executives Named to “40 Under 40”

Bruce Barone Jr. and Jeff Wynn both named to Gulfshore Business’ list of best young leaders under 40
Naples, FL (October 00, 2018)…Bruce Barone Jr., Executive Director of the Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District (BID) and Jeff Wynn, President of Wynn Properties Inc. and President of the 5th Avenue BID Board of Directors have been named Gulfshore Business’ 2018 40 under 40.
Gulfshore Business’ “40 Under 40” is an annual salute to Southwest Florida’s brightest entrepreneurs, executives, and young professionals under 40 years old. Since 2003, Gulfshore Business has acknowledged the new generation of leaders and professionals spanning from Polk County to Collier County. Nominees come from a variety of professional backgrounds including finance, law, education, medicine, public service and the arts, and entrepreneurs.
Barone Jr., 37, and Wynn, 35, were selected from more than 150 nominees for the 2018 honor. Having two honorees from the same business is extremely unique, and reflects the energy radiating around 5th Avenue South. Barone Jr. and Wynn are both involved in the transformation of 5th Avenue, and this recognition acknowledges their dedication and success. Honorees are selected based on professional accomplishments, volunteer work, and other involvement in the Southwest Florida community.
Barone Jr. is the executive director of the Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District and is tasked with overseeing the development of the new era of the Naples icon. Barone Jr. credits his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for giving him the right tools for the job. “I am an entrepreneur at heart, which has taught me how to be pragmatic. Having the ability to adapt as information and circumstances change gives me an advantage over my competition. This allows me to pursue the best possible solution, instead of being bound by ideology or ego,” Barone Jr. says. He is passionate about pushing the limits of “how it’s always been done” and striving for excellence.
Wynn currently serves as the president of the Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District Board of Directors. Wynn is the president of Wynn Properties Inc., a third generation family operated and owned business. Wynn Properties Inc. has 400,000 square feet of commercial property in Naples and Bonita Springs. Wynn has learned a lot from watching his family run the business including how to give back to the community. “Working as a family business that has been part of the Naples community for 80 years, the Wynn family brings strong family values and ethics into the running of our businesses,” Wynn says. Wynn Cos, which includes Wynn Properties Inc, gives back to the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation Gulf Coast chapter each year as well as many other sponsorships in the community.
