5th Avenue South Businesses Debut Thursday Night “Dinner and a Show” Series

Support culinary and performing arts save up to 20% on pre-theatre meals
Naples, FL: (June 26, 2018) . . . Eleven legendary 5th Avenue South restaurants are teaming with the Business Improvement District (BID) and The Naples Players to host a new Thursday “Dinner and a Show” series to support the culinary and performing arts according to Bruce Barone, Executive Director of the non-profit business organization devoted to promoting Naples’ Main Street.
The Naples Players will be performing the sizzling summer musical CHICAGO from June 28th through July 29th, launching the community theater troupe’s 65th anniversary season. Performances will be held in Blackburn Hall and ticket prices range from $20-$45 for adults. July 12th will be an Evening on 5th, which begins the “Dinner and a Show” summer series. The following month on August 9th, The Naples Players will be holding a movie night in Blackburn Hall, showing the classic film Casablanca. Those tickets are currently on sale for $10.
These Thursday evenings are ideal for your family, date night, or girls’ night out. As always, there is ample, free parking anywhere on the Avenue, and there will be $10 valet parking available as well. What’s more, some of Naples’ finest restaurants will be featuring pre-selected menus and offering discounts to theatre attendees.
For the first “Dinner and a Show” on July 12th, restaurants all along the Avenue have joined together to attract diners to the street and support our city’s fine arts. Discounts of 15-20% will be offered at the following restaurants: Aqua, Café Molto, Grace and Shelly’s Cupcakes, Ocean Prime, Pazzo!, Thai Udon, Vergina, Caffè Milano and Yabba Island Grill.
Additionally, SAILS will be offering a 3-course Prix Fixe dinner menu for $39 from 4:30pm-6pm to those attending CHICAGO on July 12th. Diners will be given an option between four delicious starters including Salmon Tartare and Tomato Salad, five entrées including Mushroom Farro Risotto and Fish du Jour, and four decadent desserts. Bha Bha Persian Bistro, owned by Michael Mir, will be offering a 3-course Prix Fixe menu for $35 from 5pm-6pm to those attending Casablanca in August. Diners will choose from three delicious starters including Stuffed Eggplant with Lamb and Bandari Salad, six entrées including unique dishes like Apricot Tamarind Lamb and Spicy Asparagus Beef, and will be treated to Persian Baklava for dessert.
Patrons only need show the waiter their tickets to that evening’s show to receive the special dinner pricing. More information on each restaurant’s promotions can be found on their websites.
