Naples Plans to Make Highway 41 More Bicycle and Pedestrian Friendly
March 15, 2018
COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -A plan to lose two lanes of traffic in parts of U.S. Highway 41 in Naples is moving forward.
The proposal would reduce lanes from Seventh Ave. North to Fifth Ave. South, and then slightly east to Goodlette Frank Road.
The whole idea is part of a plan to improve mobility in the heart of Naples.
Those that commute on bicycles understand how tough it can be to do so on such a busy road, and that’s part of the reason behind the City of Naples’ idea to make U.S. Highway 41 more bicycle and pedestrian friendly.
